Glencoe Literature offers a collection of hardcover books that allows students and teachers to extend the study of literature to full-length novels and plays. The book series consists of a complete novel or play accompanied by several related readings, such as short stories, poems, essays, or informational articles.
StoryWorks is a thrilling multigenre magazine that builds essential ELA skills. Every issue features compelling and complex texts in a wide range of genres, from narrative nonfiction to fiction to drama. Rigorous activities and online resources (life videos and alternate reading levels) support every text to build the skills students need most. Each student receives a desk copy and digital access to this magazine.
Scholastic Scope meets the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. This language arts magazine supports anchor standards in English Language Arts. Using these magazines as authentic texts will also help meet key standards in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Language.
