Hello everyone this is Doctor George Solter Superintendent of the North Bergen School District.  First and foremost, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday season. 
 
I want to thank all of the teachers, guidance counselors, child study teams, attendance officers, custodians, maintenance workers, security guards, clerks, teacher aides, food service workers and administrators for their hard work.  I really want to thank all of our school nurses for everything they are doing to help us navigate this pandemic.
 
We have been running vaccine clinics in our schools in association with the North Bergen Department of Health.  They have been very successful and we have received positive feedback from the community.  Please look at our website and listen for automated calls with the dates and locations of these clinics.
 
At this time, we are evaluating the possibility of returning to remote instruction for the first week of January 2022.  The New Jersey Department of Education requires us to consult with the local department of health and determine the need for moving to virtual instruction.  I will make that decision and announce our plans by Wednesday, December 29th.  The message will be on the website, texted/emailed to you, and sent out in an automated call.
 
During this holiday season please stay safe and use sound health practices.
