Hello, this is Dr. George Solter Superintendent of the North Bergen School District.  I would like to give you some specific information concerning Parent and Teacher conferences.  We usually hold a parents night where you the parent can have a conference to discuss your child’s progress and areas of need for improvement.  Unfortunately, this year we cannot have in-person meetings because of the pandemic.  We will have online conferences between the parents and the teacher.  You the parent must go log into the Realtime parent portal to register for a 10-minute time slot.  We will have a video explaining this process on the North Bergen Board of Education District website and your child’s school website.

These conferences will be on Wednesday, December 16th between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM; between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM; or on Thursday, December 17th between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  You can start making an appointment to see you child’s teacher starting Thursday, December 10th at 9:00 AM.

If you need any assistance please call you child’s school or email the principal, vice principal, guidance counselor, or my office at gsolter@northbergen.k12.nj.us.  We look forward to speaking with you.  We feel that by you the parent, the teacher and the administration having a good line of communication assures that the child will be successful.
