Hello everyone this is Dr. George Solter
Superintendent of Schools for the North
Bergen School District.

I would like to alert all Students, Parents,
and Staff to the Process for our Virtual
School starting Monday, March 30 th .

Information for Grade Kindergarten to
Grade 2 will be posted on the Teacher
Webpage.

Information for Grade 3 to Grade 12 will
be on each teacher’s Google classroom.

Teachers may use any additional method
to get information to the students and
parents such as classroom dojo or
remind.

A schedule is posted on the website on
the Virtual Learning School Day Plan.

We want to offer a school day structure
for learning but be flexible when there is
a need.

Please contact your teacher when there is
an issue.

Some Parent expectations are:

Check the website and /or Google
classroom.

Look for communications like emails,
texts, automated calls, and alerts from
the teacher or school.

Make sure your children complete the
assignments.

Try to find a quiet comfortable place.

Contact the teacher or guidance
counselor with any issues.

Student expectations:

For Attendance Purposes

Grades K to 8 must sign in for
attendance on their school website.

Grades 9 to 12 logging into Google
classroom is the attendance.

School Day

The day will start at 9:00 AM to 1:10
PM

Grade 1 to 4 will have blocks of Math
and ELA with time for additional
instruction

Grades 5 to 12 will follow their period
schedule.

We are all working through a difficult
time and I appreciate the effort by every
staff member, parents, and students.

Again if there are any issues please
contact the teacher or guidance
counselor.
