Middle School Language Arts Teacher

North Bergen School District

Position Summary:

The North Bergen School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Language Arts teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated educator with a strong commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an engaging and effective language arts curriculum aligned with state standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a love of literature.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special needs.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to promote growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and well-being.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in education.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey teaching certification in English Language Arts for middle school (Grade 5-8 Certificate)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

Must possess or be eligible for appropriate N.J. State Certification.
