2 HOUR DELAYED OPENING

Elementary Schools

(Pre-K - 6)

2 hour delay to the school day

• Schools will open its doors at 10:30 A.M.
• Students will start class at 11:00 A.M.
• Lunch periods will be according to the regular schedule.
• Student dismissal will be at 3:00 P.M.

Junior High School

(7 - 8)

• JHS students with a first period will start class at 10:30 A.M.
• JHS students who start after first period will start with homeroom at 11:08.
• There will be no 2nd and 9th period classes.
• JHS students will be dismissed according to their regular schedule.

High School

(9 - 12)

• HS students with a first period will start class at 10:30 A.M.
• HS students who start after first period will start with homeroom at 11:12 A.M.
• There will be no 2nd, 3rd and 9th-period classes.
• HS students will be dismissed according to their regular schedule.

STEAM Academy Program 

• Buses will pick up students 2 hours later than the regular time schedule.
• For example, if your child takes the bus at 8:15 A.M. regularly, on a delayed opening day your child will take the bus at 10:15 A.M.

 

BUS SCHEDULE FOR DELAYED OPENING

Elementary Bus Students (Pre-K - 6):

• Buses will pick up students 2 hours later than the regular time schedule.
• For example, if your child takes the bus at 8:15 A.M. regularly, on a delayed opening day your child will take the bus at 10:15 A.M.

Junior High School Bus Students (7 - 8):

• All buses will pick up 2 hours 15 minutes after regular pick up time.

High School Bus Students (9 - 12):

• Bus pickup for Period 1 HS students starts at  9:40 A.M. 
• All other HS students bus pick up is at 10:20 A.M. 

 

Parents: Please be on time for the buses. If your child is late for the designated pick up you will be responsible to bring your child to school.
