Faced with the cancellation of all live competitions they entered into the Tournament of Bands Virtual Circuit.
Over 5 weeks the Band recorded performances at 64th Street Field and Bruin Stadium for an audience of Socially Distanced Friends and Family. These recordings were submitted and judged over Zoom Calls with the Marching Band staff and Tournament of Bands Judges.
The result was an amazingly rewarding and educational experience for all involved. The Band was deemed one of the top bands of this "Covid Rules" Season and celebrated by judges from all across the country for their talent, dedication, and perseverance.
Many Social Distancing measures were taken during the course of the season in order to keep our students safe. This included masks while not playing an instrument and a spacing of 6 feet or more between students at all times.
Due to many factors during this pandemic, scheduling was difficult for many families and we couldn't always have all members present on our recording days, so we are presenting 2 of our videos.
