I just wanted to send you some pictures of our special guest who came to read and serenade our bilingual first and second graders in my music class at Franklin School with her violin. Her name is Kristin Ruud Diaz. She is a professional violinist, teacher, mother, and a community involving parent in North Bergen. She goes over and beyond for our teachers, students, and North Bergen community. She brings breakfast to all teachers when it is Teacher Appreciation day. And she also volunteers to help out anyway she can in our schools. She deserves recognition for everything she does for our schools.
The students loved her violin playing yesterday. We, as in Franklin School want to thank her. This is a great way to involve the parents in our schools :)
