Hello everyone this is Doctor George Solter, Superintendent of the North Bergen School District. First of all, I would like to welcome everyone back from summer vacation. I hope each of our students will have an enjoyable and productive school year. As I have done in previous years you will be getting a monthly or more video of what is happening in our school district. It is so important that we become partners in our child’s educational journey. We are excited to announce the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to honor the cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latino individuals. From September 15th to October 15th, we will be commemorating the history, traditions, and achievements of the Hispanic community. During this month, our school will host a variety of engaging activities designed to foster understanding, appreciation, and respect for Hispanic culture. We will have guest speakers, cultural performances, and educational workshops that will highlight the diversity and beauty of Hispanic heritage. Our goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where all students feel valued and celebrated. We encourage you to join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring Hispanic culture with your children at home. This could involve trying new foods, listening to Hispanic music, or learning about famous Hispanic figures. By working together, we can create a vibrant and enriching learning experience for all of our students. We want to introduce you to your child's new teacher for the 2024 - 2025 School year. Each teacher has created a special message with either a video, voice-over presentation, or a simple slide PowerPoint. Please visit the Teacher's Webpage Link to watch the message. In this message, each staff member will discuss their teaching philosophy, classroom rules, and expectations for student behavior. We hope this video will provide you with valuable information and help you feel more connected to your child's educational experience. Thank you for your continued support.   We encourage all parents and students to come out and support our talented student-athletes as they compete in their upcoming games. Your presence in the stands can make a huge difference in boosting their morale and inspiring them to strive for excellence. Let's show our school spirit and create a positive and supportive atmosphere for our student athletes. Remember, participating in extracurricular activities like sports can help students develop important skills such as teamwork, dedication, and perseverance.
