hi welcome to my virtual open house 7th grade ESL class my name is mrs. fiallos Marine this is my 20th year teaching ESL at Horace Mann school I have a Bachelors St Peter's College and a master degree from New Jersey City University in the field of Education in science I enjoy spending time with my family and pets I was born in Ecuador but I was raised in the United States since I was 9 years old when is arbeit giving a little background about what is cell and e l l stands for ESO refers to English as a second language enea El refers to the English language learner who is learning a new language this case English Michael from my English language Learners is for them to reach a level of fluency in English both on written level and on the spoken them the goal of the ESL program is to prepare students for success in school and in society through the Dubai man of culture awareness in English language Proficiency in listening speaking reading and writing English as a second language program assist all students in assessing Canton area instruction while learning English so they can remain at a green level Community School administrators and counselors and parents to address their learning and emotional needs of which English language learners this is our daily schedule my ESL students meet with me during the night. From 2:20 to 3 on Mondays Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays where's this is only a small where I meet with my students on A1A bass and I usually meet with them from. 8 to. Night half a day schedule is also doing. 9 but it's only a 20-minute.
