Hello everyone this is Dr. George Solter the Superintendent of the North Bergen School District.  I hope everyone is healthy and following the guidelines for safety.  We have decided to start the school year with full virtual education.  A complete schedule for a student to log on to their teacher and the guidelines for virtual education will be posted sometime next week.  I want to give you some highlights of our plan at this time.

First, all students will have the opportunity to receive a chrome book from the district if you do not have a device for the child at home.  Also, we will ne making sure each family has connection to the Internet.  If families do not have access to the Internet we will be making sure they can get access.

Second, We will be conducting full day classes live on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday through Google Meet.  On Wednesdays, the students will be completing assignment and meeting in small groups with the teachers for four hours.  All students must follow their teacher on Goggle Classroom for notes, correspondence, and assignments.

Third, all students are required to attend classes as if we were in school and complete assignments.  If there are any extenuating circumstances please contact the teacher, guidance counselor, or the principal.

Fourth, lunches and breakfasts will still be served and provided at the schools.

Again next week we will be posting the guidelines for virtual learning.

I hope everyone understands the caution we are taking at this time for everyone’s health and safety.
