Hello this is Dr. George Solter, Superintendent of the North Bergen School District.  I come to you and hope everyone is safe and healthy.  There have been many directives and protocols given to us from the New Jersey Department of Education.

We have created an opening plan that includes a hybrid model where Group A students would go to school on Monday and Tuesday while learning virtual on Thursday and Friday.  Group B students would go to school on Thursday and Friday and be virtual on Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday would be a virtual day for all.
The second model would be a total virtual environment for all students.

Additionally, any parent can opt-in for a complete virtual education and would not attend in-person learning.  As a parent you would go to the parent portal of Realtime and answer two questions to enroll your child for virtual learning.

All information about our plan and the supporting documents are on the North Bergen School District website under the parent tab.

When we have more information I will make sure we update you on the changes.
