Hello this is Dr. George Solter. Welcome back to our virtual schooling.  I would like to tell you some important pieces of information regarding the North Bergen School District happenings.

First, meals for the week will be given out on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 noon to 2 PM.  Each bag will contain breakfast and lunch.

Second, report cards will be issued April 27th on the Realtime Parent Portal or through the Realtime App.  Please contact your child’s teacher if there are any issues.  We want to make sure everyone is learning during this trying time.

Third, the Governor’s executive order has closed schools and we will be closed until we get direction from the state.  At that time, we will have detailed plans for our next actions.

Fourth, as a school district we are participating in the 2020 census.  There were many activities planned to help everyone understand the importance and the process for completing the census form.  We will be talking about the census in our virtual classes to your children.  Please go on the webpage at census.hcnj.us for information.

Lastly, I want to thank the custodians, maintenance workers, security guards, and cafeteria staff for everything they are doing to provide meals.

Please be safe and use all recommended precautions in public to protect yourself and others.

Whenever we come back together, we will need to rely on one another.
